Integration FAQ
Can I connect to multiple practice management systems?
Each matter can be linked to one practice management system at a time (either Clio OR MyCase, not both). However, your firm can have some matters linked to Clio and others linked to MyCase.
Will connecting affect my existing data?
No. Connecting only enables syncing. Your existing data in both systems remains unchanged. You control what gets imported and exported.
How often does data sync?
Matters sync every 15 minutes automatically. You can also trigger a manual sync anytime from the matter detail page.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Go to Settings > Integrations and click "Disconnect." Your data in ProvaLens remains, but sync stops. Documents already imported stay in ProvaLens.
Is my data secure during sync?
Yes. All data is transferred over encrypted connections (TLS 1.3). OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We never store your Clio or MyCase passwords.
